Hey friends and welcome! My name is Nadia Rivera, but in the art world, I go by Nadia Iman – a nod to my middle name that sets me apart in a sea of Riveras. Not that I don't love my last name – I absolutely do! But Nadia Iman gives me a unique identity in the art community.
My Journey as an Artist
Like many kids, my journey into the world of art began at a very young age. I started drawing as a toddler, sketching and doodling whenever inspiration struck. I was particularly enamored with cartoons, and my love for animated characters fueled my early artistic endeavors.
As I grew older, art became more than just a hobby; it became an emotional outlet during some of the more challenging times in my life. This transformative period led me to explore digital art, primarily because it was a more affordable medium. Without the need to constantly buy supplies, I could focus on honing my skills. Investing in software and hardware allowed me to create more seamless and professional-looking pieces.
