My creative works include digital prints, charcoal works, watercolor and occasional acrylic works. Studying psychology gave me an important insight into the specifics of my work and aided me in being able to adequately describe my works. Most of my works are inspired by critical moments in my life and fueled by different music which gives me the ability to create elaborate, emotional pieces.
"BRUTAL" 2023, Metal
Ruthless envy acts as the irresistibly potent elixir that captivates the narcissistic ego submerged in feelings of guilt and terror. "Brutal" is born from the addiction to envy and the brutality is creates.
"101: Eye Archive," 2023, Metal
Eyes are a tremendously important part of all of my works. We cant tell so much from the eyes alone. Our Eyes can show pain, joy, sadness, deceit...with out the emotions conveyed, much is left without much an answer.
"BeeBee Almost Got me Killed!," 2023 , Metal
Inspired by the bumble bee that hid on my seat and almost got me killed on the highway...funny enough, this adorable bumble bee scared me out of my wits when I looked down to find it sitting there equally as terrified. When I pulled over, and opened my car door on the side of the highway, he graciously crawled out and left. We both narrowly escaped with our lives.
"Mother Gaia," 2023, Metal
An intense re-imagination of Mother Gaia herself. Originally, I created her for an Earth Day art submission that didn't make the final cut. The warm golds and cool greens depict haunting stoicism, with an added playfulness with abstract floral hair.
"Real Eyes," 2023, Canvas
"Real Eyes," 2023, or as I see it, realize, was a piece I created during a moment of understanding. Using burnt oranges, reds and contrasting with a cool green to promote a somber, almost child like emotion in the woman's heart. Often we understand how fragile and whimsical our hearts and minds are during moments of betrayal.
"Two of a Kind," 2023, Metal
The cracked gradient, pale white mask, on the left, rivaling only with the rich, deep reds on the right draw a shocking image of what we call: two sides of the same coin. Drawing on a very visceral moment of the horrors we often carry on either sides of our personality. We can choose to be the horror, or the beauty, but it doesn't change the ever real image of duality in humanity. "Two of a Kind," 2023 will be featured in the upcoming 2024 October collection MERCURIAL GLITCH.
"Danger. Toxic.," 2023, Digital, Metla
The grunge depiction on warm reds, oranges, and breath-taking yellows depicts our toxicity at core. Women are often the perfect subjects for extreme or intense definitives. "Danger. Toxic.," 2023, will be featured in the upcoming 2024 October collection MERCURIAL GLITCH
